Mount Opera

The state of Telangana may have many resorts to its name, but arguably none is as famous or as luxurious as Mount Opera. Backed by the well-respected Sreemitra Estate Pvt. Ltd., a company that is a pioneer when it comes to entertainment-based themes, Mount Opera is a multi-themed park resort that is not just known within the city of Hyderabad, but also on a global scale, when it comes to wholesome entertainment and relaxation.

The resort itself is situated on top of a hill, some two hundred feet above ground, giving it a grand panoramic view of the area surrounding it and making sure that the visitor is taken far away from the humdrum of busy life. Entertainment in Mount Opera is pure and unadulterated, making it a perfect getaway for the whole family. This being a theme park and a resort, it would be logical to assume that there will be amusement rides to be found, and in this case, Mount Opera certainly does not disappoint. From the requisite bumper cars that are found in almost any theme park around the world to the more elaborate Animatrix Dinasorire, kids and adults alike should find a ride that will fit their particular thrill palate.

Mount Opera also has their own version of Water World, a treat for those who have particular affinity with water and anything aqua exotica. Water slides for both the kids and adults are present, as well as a large area where people can enjoy a simulated rain shower, aptly called the Rain Dance. Other water-based fun includes boating and the tried and tested family pools.

Lack of a nightlife is also not a big concern at the resort. A state of the art discotheque is available for the nocturnal party animals in each person. DJs play the most happening rock, funk, or hiphop beats that will surely get everyone stomping until the wee hours of the morning. This is a far cry from the usual subdued and calm nightlife one will find in Hyderabad.

Mount Opera has been chosen by Telangana’s Department on Tourism as a special tourism unit, so it is pretty much assured that a stay here will be at least decent.
